How To Search
We recommend you start your search by selecting the 'Manufacturer' and then the 'Model Range' you are interested in.
Once you have selected a manufacturer and model range, you can narrow the results further using body style, length, height, payload, fuel type and gearbox.
You do not need to make every selection before starting a search. When you are ready, click the 'Search' button to display the vans that match your current selections.
How The 'Make And Model' Search Works
The search starts with the van manufacturer and then allows you to choose a specific model range where available.
This can be useful if your business already operates a particular manufacturer's vehicles, has an existing supplier relationship, or simply wants to compare different versions of a known model range.
A manufacturer may offer several van ranges and each range may contain multiple body styles, wheelbases, roof heights and payload variants.
'Manufacturer' Search
Select the manufacturer from the 'Manufacturer' list to limit the search results to that brand.
This can make the search easier by reducing the number of vehicles being compared.
Once a manufacturer has been selected, the available model ranges for that manufacturer can be displayed in the 'Model Range' list.
'Model Range' Search
The 'Model Range' filter allows you to focus on a specific family of vans within a manufacturer's line-up.
Different model ranges can offer different carrying capacities, dimensions, fuel types and operating characteristics, so selecting a model range can significantly narrow the results.
Even within the same model range there may be multiple wheelbases, roof heights, payload ratings and body styles available.
'Body Style' Search
You can narrow the search by body style, including panel vans, pickups, chassis cabs, crew vans, dropsides, Lutons, tippers and minibuses where these are identified in the vehicle data.
Body style is often one of the most important factors when choosing a van because it determines how the vehicle can be used.
'Length/Height' Search
Length and height filters help narrow the search to vans with suitable dimensions and load space.
- Standard/Short Wheelbase (SWB-L1)
- Medium Wheelbase (MWB-L2)
- Long Wheelbase (LWB-L3)
- Extra-Long Wheelbase (L4)
- Standard Roof (H1)
- Medium Roof (H2)
- High Roof (H3)
- Extra-High Roof (H4)
Different wheelbases and roof heights can affect load volume, loading access and manoeuvrability.
'Payload' Search
Payload can be used as an additional filter if carrying capacity is important.
Similar vans can have different payload capacities because of wheelbase, roof height, drivetrain, seating layout and body configuration.
If payload is your primary requirement, you may find our dedicated payload search more useful.
'Fuel/Gearbox' Search
If you want to restrict the search results by fuel type, select the required fuel.
If you select 'Electric' as the fuel type, please note that the gearbox type will normally be 'Automatic' irrespective of any selections in the 'Gearbox' list.
Fuel and gearbox filters can help identify vans that better match your operational requirements.
Search Results
Once the search results appear, you can display additional details such as dimensions, payload, economy, emissions, performance, maintenance and battery information where these are available.
To compare actual payload, open the 'PAYLOAD' section and select 'Max. Payload Weight'.
You can also display kerb weight, gross vehicle weight, load length, load width, load height, load volume and towing information where these fields are available.
To see additional items, click on the buttons for 'BODY', 'DIMENSIONS', 'PAYLOAD', 'ECONOMY', 'EMISSIONS', 'PERFORMANCE', 'MAINTENANCE' or 'BATTERY' and select the information you wish to display.
The most effective way of searching is to select the manufacturer and model range first, then refine the results using the additional filters.
